Online payments for your parking will not entitle you, unless otherwise specified, to any particular space in the Car Park or priority over other customers. Upon entry to the Car Park, if you are unable to find a space for your vehicle then please exit immediately to avoid being issued with a Parking Ticket Charge Notice.

However, in the unlikely event that a customer in receipt of a valid parking permit cannot locate a space, we will endeavour to reassign this parking session to another of our car parks nearby on which a parking space is available. In cases such as this, please contact us at the earliest opportunity on 0345 293 0818 (selecting option 1, then option 2), or email info@totalcarparks.co.uk.

 

Please email info@totalcarparks.co.uk to request a refund or a reassignment of your parking session.

 

Total Car Parks Ltd offers this Website, including all information, software, products and services available from this Website, or offered as part of or in conjunction with this Web site (www.totalcarparks.co.uk), to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all of the terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here. Refund Policy

We will endeavour to refund any paid parking session for which are able to provide valid evidence of your vehicle being parked elsewhere for the entirety of your booking. Refund requests must be made within 28 days of your initial payment; any request made after this time will be declined without consideration.

If you are requesting a refund for a weekly, monthly or quarterly parking session, and the parking session in question has already commenced, you will be charged at the daily/24hr rate for each day/time already used on your parking session, with an additional administration fee of £5.00 will be incurred.

I you have created a duplicate transaction whilst making payment for your parking session we will offer to reassign your parking session for use at a later date.

VRM/Date Amendments

Any amendments to your Vehicle Registration Number in respect of your contract parking permit should be made by contacting our administration department on 0345 293 0818 or info@totalcarparks.co.uk. For future reference, we ask that you please give us at least 24 hours' notice in writing in order to amend existing bookings.

Once you have supplied us with your VRM and the amended dates/times you wish to be actioned, we will send you an email confirming the amendment.

Will Total Car Parks use the information I give for marketing purposes?
Yes, but we will always ask you for your permission first. We collect information about you both directly (i.e. when you make a purchase) and indirectly (i.e. when you use our website).

We collect this information for two of reasons: to process your order and secondly, to provide you with the best service possible. We will contact you regularly with details of the products we offer, as well as products and offers from our selected partners.

Will Total Car Parks disclose any of this personal information to third parties?
Total Car Parks will only disclose your name and booking details to our suppliers for operational purposes. We will not pass on your details or sell them to other companies for their marketing purposes. The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law. We also will not disclose credit/debit card numbers, unless we genuinely believe in good faith that the law requires it.

Does the Total Car Parks website use cookies?
Yes, Total Car Parks uses technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our website using a "cookie", or tracking software. Cookies are stored on your computer, but you can usually modify your browser to prevent this.

Terms & Conditions – Pay & Display Parking

 

Please see the notices on site for further details, these are visible at all of our Pay & Display Car Parks.

By parking your vehicle in this car park you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

  • Do not park as to cause obstruction or inconvenience to others
  • Parking permits or any authorisation for parking must be valid and clearly displayed
  • When a designated bay or space has been issued you must park within that car parking space
  • Permit-less parking must be valid; any change of vehicle must be updated prior to parking
  1. Pay & Display Machine: Ticket must be clearly displayed inside the windscreen with date and time on view. Tickets are not transferable.
  2. Pay by Mobile (no ticket): Follow the instructions provided on the pay by mobile sign(s).
  3. Website Booking (no ticket required): Follow the instructions provided on the website.
  • Bookings made by Pay by Mobile/Website are only valid for the car park for which they have been booked
  • The Blue Badge Scheme is not operated on our Pay & Display car parks unless otherwise stated on the notices onsite

 

Vehicles and their contents are left entirely at the risk of the owner/driver. No liability can or will be accepted by Total Car Parks Ltd or the land owner or other interested parties for any loss, damage, distress or injury incurred however caused.


 

Failure to comply with the Terms & Conditions will result in the following enforcement procedure:

  1. The Vehicle being issued a parking ticket charge fee £100.00

(IF PAID WITHIN 7 DAYS REDUCED TO £30.00 IF PAID WITHIN 14 DAYS REDUCED TO £60.00)

LATE PAYMENT: Failure to pay the parking ticket within 28 days from date of issue may result in Registered Keeper details being requested from the DVLA and a request for a payment of £150.00 forwarded to; DEBT RECOVERY AGENCY for collection or court enforcement. This will incur further administration and legal fees that you will be liable for.

Terms & Conditions for payments of Parking Ticket Charge Notices (PTCN)

BY POST

·         Cheques to be made payable to Total Car Parks Limited

·         Send payment, together with a completed payment slip, to:

·         Please complete the payment slip at the bottom of the PTCN

·         State the PTCN No. and your address on the back of your cheque

·         Do not send cash via post

·         Post-dated cheques will not be accepted

Terms & Conditions for Appeals

If you wish to appeal against a Parking Ticket Charge Notice, you must do so within 28 days of the date of Notice or within the time period stipulated in the notice/document you received.

You can appeal using the online form or by sending your appeal to PTC Processing Department, Suite 255, Communications House, 9 St Johns Street, Colchester, Essex, CO2 7NN.

All appeals must include Full Name, Address, Vehicle Registration and the Parking Ticket Charge Notice Number; only appeal ONE Parking Ticket Charge Notice at a time, to appeal more than one Parking Ticket Charge Notice please fill in the form again stated on the website www.totalcarparks.co.uk/appeal

The Parking Ticket Charge discount will be frozen from the date the Appeal has been received, we aim to respond in writing or by email within 14 working days. If you have supplied an e-mail address, you will be notified as to the outcome of your appeal by e-mail. Therefore, please ensure that your e-mail address is serviceable. Please check your Junk E-mail folder in case a response to your appeal has been delivered there instead of your Inbox.

 

If your appeal is not upheld, then you will be eligible to use the Independent Appeals Service POPLA, details will be made available at the appropriate time.

Appeals cannot be considered over the telephone or by sending an e-mail, we currently only accept Appeals sent using the online form below or sent to us by post.

We will not accept an Appeal either in writing or on-line if payment has been made for a Parking Ticket Charge Notice, as liability has then been accepted for the Parking Ticket Charge Notice.
